Ahead of the Trend

Posted by Christina Lauren on Sunday, January 6, 2013, In : DESIGN

Flipping through the newest issue of InStyle, I stumbled on the Gucci Spring ad. Late last year I finished up a living room, and it looks strikingly familiar to the ad. I guess CL is just ahead of the trends! (Next time I'll remember to photograph multiple angles and detail shots!)

Little Things, Big Difference

Posted by Christina Lauren on Monday, June 4, 2012, In : DESIGN

Brighten up your space by adding small personal touches. Candles, throws, pillows, drapes, and even coffee table books add personality, color and make a space feel more polished off. These littles don't cost a fortune so you can change your look seasonally.

Posted by Christina Lauren on Monday, May 14, 2012, In : DESIGN

Dying for Design

Posted by Christina Lauren on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, In : DESIGN

Pencil Cactus is one of the most interesting plants out there. It's hard to kill, vibrant orange/red in color and texturally appealing. It is also poisonous! Break a branch and beware, when cut the thick white substance that it produces is hazardous. I experienced it's wrath this weekend, and it was anything but pleasant. Anything for design.
